Mr. James Fred “Jim” Both passed away on February 13, 2026, at the age of 85 at Villa Marie in Red Deer. Born on May 26, 1940, in Eckville, Alberta, Jim was raised on a family farm and later married Sharon Muriel Jackson in 1964, with whom he had three daughters: Sherri, Rhonda, and Jaime. Jim had a diverse career, initially working for the Alberta Wheat Pool and later founding Both Construction, where he excelled in carpentry and cement work. He eventually joined Timcon Construction, focusing on commercial and bridge projects.
