On April 22, 2026, Tim Hortons announced exciting developments for its beloved Timbits Soccer program. The initiative supports more than 250,000 youth across Canada each year, providing a platform for kids to learn soccer and build essential life skills.
Since its inception in 1993, the Timbits Soccer program has offered millions of children the chance to engage in sports. This year marks a significant milestone as Tim Hortons celebrates the 50th anniversary of Timbits as a product line.
As part of this celebration, Tim Hortons has signed a multi-year jersey deal with adidas. Starting in May, new jerseys will be distributed to young players participating in the program. An adult-sized Timbits Soccer x adidas Celebration Jersey will also be available for purchase in June.
“Tim Hortons supports more than 250,000 youth through Timbits Soccer every season and we’re incredibly proud of the legacy of the program,” said Hope Bagozzi from Tim Hortons. This commitment to youth sports emphasizes the importance of community involvement.
In addition to the jerseys, fans can look forward to new Timbits flavors including Chocolate Crème Brûlée, Lime Cheesecake, Cappuccino, and Birthday Cake with Popping Candy. These additions are sure to delight both young soccer players and their families.
A TV campaign featuring Canadian soccer star Jonathan David will begin airing soon. “More than anything, soccer is where you build confidence, learn teamwork, and just enjoy being out there,” David remarked about the impact of sports on youth development.
Kelly Graham from adidas added, “Equipping young players with adidas jerseys allows us to champion the spirit of grassroots sports and inspire a lifelong love for sport and community across Canada.” This partnership highlights a shared vision for nurturing young talent.
The excitement surrounding these updates reflects a growing appreciation for youth engagement in sports. As communities rally behind their local teams, the impact of programs like Timbits Soccer continues to resonate.
Details remain unconfirmed about additional initiatives planned for the future. However, one thing is clear: Tim Hortons is committed to fostering a love for soccer among Canada’s youth.
