Nick Schmaltz Signs Eight-Year Extension with Utah Mammoth

The Utah Mammoth, formerly known as the Arizona Coyotes, is in its second season since relocating to Salt Lake City. The organization has faced challenges in recent years, having not made the playoffs since 2020 and last qualifying for the traditional 16-team tournament in 2012. The extension of Schmaltz is seen as a pivotal move to build a competitive roster moving forward.
