LEGO Tintin Moon Rocket Set Announced for 2026
The highly anticipated LEGO Tintin Moon Rocket set, designated as set number 21367, is set to launch on April 1, 2026. This model, designed for adult builders aged 18 and older, comprises a total of 1,283 pieces and features a striking red-and-white checkered design.
Fan designer Alexis Dos Santos submitted the concept for the Tintin Moon Rocket, which draws inspiration from the classic Tintin comic books Destination Moon and Explorers on the Moon. “Creating the Tintin Moon Rocket has been an incredible journey,” Dos Santos remarked. He added, “I wanted to capture the spirit of Tintin’s iconic rocket in a way that celebrates both its engineering elegance and its place in pop culture.”
The model stands at an impressive 49 cm tall and includes six minifigures: Tintin, Captain Haddock, Professor Calculus, and the Thompson twins, along with Snowy. This diverse cast allows fans to recreate their favorite scenes from the comics, enhancing the building experience.
In addition to its aesthetic appeal, the LEGO Tintin Moon Rocket set offers interactive features, including a hidden control room inside the rocket. This element is designed to engage builders and provide a deeper connection to the narrative of Tintin’s adventures. “I hope the build sparks the same sense of imagination and adventure that inspired me from the very beginning,” Dos Santos expressed.
The set will be available for pre-order starting March 12, 2026, with a retail price of £139.99 / €159.99 / $159.99. The anticipation surrounding this release is palpable, particularly among collectors and fans of the Tintin franchise.
Before its approval, the LEGO Ideas Tintin Moon Rocket achieved 10,000 votes on the LEGO Ideas platform, showcasing the strong support from the community. This milestone reflects the enduring popularity of Tintin and the excitement for this unique LEGO set.
As the release date approaches, observers are eager to see how the set will be received by fans and collectors alike. Details remain unconfirmed regarding any additional features or promotional events surrounding the launch.
