The Toy Foundation is gearing up for its Golf & Give FUNdraiser on September 16, 2026, at TopGolf El Segundo. This event not only aims to raise critical funds for children in under-resourced communities but also celebrates the 40th anniversary of American Girl with exciting nostalgic toy collaborations.
Last year, the fundraiser raised nearly half a million dollars, demonstrating the community’s commitment to supporting children’s play needs. Proceeds from this year’s event will go towards toy donations and play-focused grants, helping ensure that every child has access to the joy of play.
Sponsorship packages:
- Minimum sponsorship package: $2,500
- Maximum sponsorship package: $50,000
- The event is open to companies and professionals in the toy industry and adjacent fields.
This year also marks a special collaboration between Mattel and American Girl. The Fisher-Price Little People Collector set will feature all eight original American Girl dolls, while the Polly Pocket X American Girl Compacts will transform beloved storybooks into foldable micro-playsets.
Pamela Mastrota, Executive Director of The Toy Foundation, emphasizes the importance of industry support: “We made a meaningful difference in the lives of these children, and we need the industry’s support to grow this impact nationwide in 2026 and beyond.” She further stated, “When the industry comes together for good, we have a greater opportunity to deliver more play to children around the world.”
The Toy Foundation has a history of funding initiatives that positively impact children’s lives. Previously, they funded mental health services at childcare centers and assisted in rebuilding a preschool impacted by a wildfire. With continued efforts like the Golf & Give FUNdraiser, they aim to expand their reach even further.
As excitement builds around this event, it remains uncertain how many sponsors will participate or how much funding will be raised this year. However, one thing is clear: the mission to provide toys and play experiences for children continues strong.
