Suspended Game
In a recent playoff game, the Williams Lake Mustangs and Quesnel River Rush agreed to suspend their match at 16:29 of the first period due to an on-ice incident. More information to come as it becomes available.
Player Highlights
Walker Overwater of the Revelstoke Grizzlies has made headlines by scoring four goals and five points in two games against the Merritt Centennials. Additionally, Austin Seibel achieved a shutout in Game 2 against the Centennials, further solidifying his status as the KIJHL’s shutouts leader.
In Game 1 of their playoff series, Ben Edwards of the Grand Forks Border Bruins contributed significantly with three assists against the Castlegar Rebels.
Kelowna Chiefs vs. Princeton Posse
The Kelowna Chiefs faced off against the Princeton Posse, winning Game 3 in overtime with a score of 3-2. The deciding goal was scored by Kelowna’s Brenden Stirbu, assisted by Evan Murray and Carter Rebman. The Chiefs have now won all three games played in the best-of-seven series.
The next game in the series between the Princeton Posse and Kelowna Chiefs is scheduled for March 10 at 7 p.m.

The winner of the series between Princeton and Kelowna will go on to face the winner of the series between the Revelstoke Grizzlies and the Merritt Centennials. The Revelstoke Grizzlies currently lead their series against the Centennials with two wins.
